Македонска Искра

Господинот Ицо Најдовски е познат македонски активист и автор на три книги поврзани со историјата и емиграцијата на Македонците во Австралија, кои можат да се најдат на веб страната на Националната Библиотека на Австралија.

Во продолжение, го претставуваме неговиот повик да се спречи формирањето на „пријателската“ група ФИРОМ во Мелбурн, Австралија.

Очекуваме, овој повик да биде проследен и во останатите македонски медиуми и да резултира со жестока заедничка реакција, со цел да се спречи понижувањето и саботирањето на досегашните успеси на македонската заедница во Викторија.

Во вторник во 8:15 мин. закажан е состанок во Парламентот на Викторија со „претставници“ од Македонската заедница за да се формира пријателска група помеѓу пратениците на Викторија и Македонската заедница со име ФИРОМ. Целта на и задачите на „пријателството“ е за да се „зајакни“ соработката со Македонската заедница и нашата татковина Македонија со државата Викторија.

Бев информиран правовремено и од прави лица од Парламентот за настанот кој треба да се случи овај вторник. Кој стои зад оваа валкана работа не знаеме. Затоа со сите сили и жолчно реагираме и ги повикуваме сите македонски мас медиуми да ја објават веста и да се испраќаат протестни писма од сите страни до прламетарците за да се спречи формирање и регистрирање на „пријателство со име ФИРОМ“ помеѓу викториските пратеници и Македонската заедница.

Ве молам уште еднаш да се пласира веста колку е можно побрзо за да го спречиме скандалот и понижувањето на Македонската заедница и Република македонија од страна на инфилтрирани „активисти“ и пратеници на Парламентот на Викторија кои се против интересите на Македонската заедница и Македонија.

Dear Ico Thank you for your email expressing your anger at the initiative being taken to establish the Victorian Parliamentary friends of FYROM group. As a member of Victorian parliament who has had the pleasure of working closely with the Macedonian community I have a very good understanding of the sensitive nature of this issue.

I am disappointed to hear that this initiative was taken without appropriate consultation with the Victorian Macedonian community. I will convey my concerns to those involved and work towards an outcome that I hope will satisfy the Macedonian community of Victoria.

The Members of the Victorian Parliament

Dear Members of the Victorian Parliament

I am writing to you regarding the establishment of the Parliamentary Friends of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia on Tuesday 22nd November 2011 at 8.15pm.

It is with regret that I inform you that as a life member of the Macedonian Community Council and longest serving secretary that I and the 50,000 Macedonians in the Victorian Community will not be supporting the establishment of this group named ‘FYROM’.

The establishment of ‘FYROM’ goes against the Macedonian community’s aims and objectives to promote and foster greater awareness of the Macedonian ethnicity such as culture, language, history within the Macedonian Community of Victoria and Australia. The establishment of the Friends of ‘FYROM’ breaches the very multicultural principles that govern our state of Victoria.

As a broadcaster on 3ZZZ radio program for than 16 years, I strongly believe it is my responsibility to inform our 30,000 listeners of the Parliament’s intention to establish Friends of ‘FYROM’ and which Members of the Victorian Parliament will support this prejudiced and discriminatory group.

The establishment of the Parliamentary Friends of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia can be held in the same interpretation as the Former British Colony of Australia – I am sure this will develop strong objections from the Australian community if we were to identify Australia as such and rightly so.

I strongly express my opposition of the establishment ‘FYROM’ and oppose the establishment any friendship group that does not carry the true name our Country – the Republic of Macedonia.

I encourage all Members of the Victorian Parliament to abandon the establishment of this offensive and insulting group and in future to consult with leaders of the Macedonian Community.
